The construction of your new home and community is an exciting time for our team and future residents alike. Becoming aware of the various construction milestones below can help you to better understand the timing of your new home and your expected occupancy.
Commencement of Construction
Once construction has begun, our Customer Care team will deliver a notice to you which may include a brief construction update. The Commencement of Construction is an important milestone for you and your lawyer to understand, and it is our responsibility as your Vendor and Builder to provide you with this notice within 30 days of the start of the construction process. Further details of this notice can be found in the TARION Addendum within your Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
Rooftop Completion
The next major construction milestone is completing the rooftop of your new building, which may be a building or within a townhouse block. This event marks the completion of major superstructure work and brings us one step closer to welcoming you to your new home. You will also receive notification of your Final Tentative Occupancy Date within 30 days of this milestone if it has not already been identified in your Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
